Egyptian Self Portraits (Fifth Grade)

I love this lesson because we learned so much!  First, we discussed that Egypt is a country in Africa.  We learned about Pharaoh headwear, hieroglyphics, and how to write our name Egyptian style!  The students learned the proportions of the face and used construction paper to create their headdress.  These turned out incredible and I am so proud of the student's work!  Nice job fifth grade!
